Jack has always had an attraction to sports, competition, and winning. As he started to work in the financial services industry, he came to the realization that sports and financial planning have many common themes. When it comes to building and protecting wealth, there are winners and there are losers; the only difference here is the players. In one’s financial journey, you are ‘playing’ against many opposing forces, like the stock market, inflation, and tax rates to name a few. While some of these forces may be out of your control, there are many strategies and tools that can be leveraged to overcome them.
Jack considers himself a coach to his clients; someone who’s on their team, encouraging them, and guiding them along while offering an objective voice. They are the star player, and his role is to advise them in their areas of need and help them create a game plan that leads to their vision of winning. His greatest sense of achievement comes from helping people reach their goals, especially when they thought it was impossible.
Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from James Madison University. As a Financial Planner and Registered Investment Advisor, he holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations and is a registered representative with MML Investor Services, LLC.
On any given day, you can find Jack starting his morning playing basketball at his hometown gym. You will also see him on the links once a week, working on his golf game. He enjoys the constant and never-ending pursuit of improvement. Jack also enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing with his dog, Mocha, and traveling to warm destinations.
