Intro

I fell in love with financial advising after helping my friends and family with their investing questions during my time in college. I received my Bachelor's degree from Towson University and went on to earn my Accredited Investment Fiduciary™, Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor™, and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ financial designations. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Personal Financial Planning.

I started my career at a boutique wealth management firm in Maryland, eventually deciding to start my own firm during the pandemic. As a strong believer in the Fee-Only Fiduciary movement, I founded Silverstone Financial to be able to serve my clients the right way. As a fee-only fiduciary financial advisor, I enjoy helping individuals, families, and businesses by educating, advising, and preparing them for their financial futures. What is your specialty?

As a financial advisor, I work with many clients to plan for a variety of financial situations, so I have encountered a range of specialty financial circumstances. However, some of the situations I work with the most and have specialized in is working with inheritances and retirement accounts. I work specifically with many first-time heirs to determine the best way to manage and invest their inheritances. I also manage many retirement accounts for clients and often recommend tax-savings strategies like Roth Conversions.

What type of clients do you cater to?

I work with many different and unique clients. I have many retiree clients, but I mostly work with young “Accumulators”. Accumulators are those who are not yet retired and are diligent savers and investors. I love helping people set their futures up for success by optimizing their investing strategy now. Many people do not reach out to a financial advisor until just a few years before retiring, after it is too late to make many meaningful changes. Most people would be better served talking with a fee-only, fiduciary financial advisor while they are still young. We can help you find little efficiencies that will compound significantly over time.

What fees do you charge?

I am a fee-only, fiduciary financial advisor, so I do not earn money from commissions. My only source of revenue is the straightforward fees my clients pay me. They can choose from a variety of fee structures that best serves them. I offer AUM fees ranging from 0.50% to 1.25%, flat-fee monthly financial planning subscriptions ranging from $150/mo to $750/mo, and hourly options at $200/hr. I am also partnered with a team of accountants to provide tax filing services and a legal team to provide estate document drafting. How do you manage your own finances?

I practice what I preach. I track my budget monthly and aggregate all my financial accounts in one, easy to follow platform. I invest mostly in broad market index funds and don’t try to stock pick or chase fads. I also am a real estate investor and own two rental properties. I’ve coached many people on how to reorganize their financial life and helped them purchase homes and rental properties for the first time.
