Yieldstreet is an alternative investment platform that connects you to income-generating investments that traditionally have been reserved for institutions and the ultra-wealthy.These alternative investment opportunities are typically backed by collateral, and span across various asset classes such as art finance, real estate, commercial finance, legal finance, and more. These asset classes have been known to generate returns for decades, but have typically been closed off to retail investors. Historically, target yields have been in the 7%-15% range but will vary depending on the specific investment opportunity. Yieldstreet has an IRR of 11.54% since 2015.

How they make money

Yieldstreet will take around 1%-2% for management fees each year from investors. All of these fees are disclosed to the investor on each investment opportunity. Yieldstreet also collects listing fees from the business owners who are raising capital.

To date, Yieldstreet has returned over $600 million in principal and interest payments to our investors. Yieldstreet is a registered investment advisor (RIA) wih the SEC and makes private offerings pursuant to Regulation D 506(c), and subject to state regulation. As an RIA, Yieldstreet complies with specific SEC rules and regulations. Each SPV’s financials are audited annually by a third-party auditor, Richey May & Co., and the audit reports are made available yearly to investors in each individual investment."
