These asset classes have been known to generate returns for decades, but have typically been closed off to retail investors. Historically, target yields have been in the 7%-15% range but will vary depending on the specific investment opportunity. Yieldstreet has an IRR of 11.54% since 2015.

How they make money

Yieldstreet will take around 1%-2% for management fees each year from investors. All of these fees are disclosed to the investor on each investment opportunity. Yieldstreet also collects listing fees from the business owners who are raising capital.
